Doing this systematically programs your mind to "connect the dots"

Doing this systematically programs your mind to "connect the dots"

I repeated the phrase above for emphasis.

It's just one tidbit of a tidbit. If you really and truly want to sell more of whatever you sell, you'll sign up for a brand new set of lessons that I've created. Here's the link where you enter your email address:

http://www.linkedin.snapmonkey.net/page/page/2745649.htm

Actually, as I write this, there's only one lesson. But here's the link again which I'm repeating for EMPHASIS:

http://www.linkedin.snapmonkey.net/page/page/2745649.htm

Some of you have known me for a while and some of you have never met me, but I'm learning how to sell better [and market better]. You can, too. Sign up for my "Learn the Lesson" lessons. No, it's not the LinkedIn lessons, but those are coming. Really. One more time. DON'T miss this:

There's another mentor you can learn from by clicking on the title of today's post. Or click below. I'm very pleased with what I'm getting for the $10 a month I'm spending.

Encouragemint, Humor and LinkedIn Lessons

I've got a friend named Jack and Jack is a great public speaker, has his own radio show and is a great family man and a man of faith. Some people call him AJ and some call him "Action" Jack McClendon. He has more relationships than me and that's not easy to do. Jack also has a website and a newsletter centered around encouragement. He has also written a book called "The Time Genie" and you can find out more at Jack's website:
http://Encouragemint.com. If you look closely you'll notice that he spells encouragement Encourage - MINT. I've included some humor from his Encouragemint newsletter.

The University of California at Berkeley has recently announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. This new element has been tentatively named "Administratium". Administratium has 1 neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 111 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by a force called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

Since Administratium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of Administratium causes one reaction to take over 4 days to complete when it would normally take less than a second. Administratium has a normal half-life of 3 years; it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons and assistant deputy neutrons exchange places.

In fact, Administratium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization causes some morons to become neutrons forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to speculate that Administratium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass." You'll know it when you see it.

LinkedIn Lessons are coming soon. As of today's post I have 676 direct relationships on LinkedIn.com and you can be sure that there's quality in that quantity. Those 676 people are directly connected to over 170,000 people. Cold calling is not as productive as in the past. Relationship matters - and it speeds things up. You can network like this, too. Mostly it can be done by putting one foot in front of the other. My profile helps me receive nearly 20 requests for connection a week. People are finding me and that saves time too. Last, but not least, I highly recommend clicking below or on the title of today's post. Jimmy D. Brown is teaching me and many others how to increase income through the knowledge of our experience and the experience of other business owners. I pay Jimmy only $10 a month to read and listen to his voice and so can you.

Do The Next Thing

I didn't expect to find a Max Steingart motivational message for business owners so soon, yet here it is.

DO THE NEXT THING

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Keeping a little ahead of conditions is one of the secrets of business.
The time to repair your roof is when the sun is shining.
So, do things before they need to be done.

Let your advance worrying become advance thinking and planning.
Position yourself ahead of time in the best place for you.

You'll gain the advantage in any situation through the medium of time.
When you think ahead of any approaching action
you'll always have the advantage.
You'll be the winner.

When you do what is necessary,
all the odds are in your favor.

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE MAKE DECISIONS

You will usually find Max Steingart's motivational messages at my Motivational Blog - http://MotivationalBlog.blogspot.com - along with the words of other motivators.

This just hit me as appropriate for many reading Value Fair.

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE MAKE DECISIONS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's your life. You decide what you're going to do with it.
If you don't run your own life, someone else will.
You're in control of your life to the degree that you make decisions.

To control the outcome of anything,
you control the action at the point of decision making.
If you let others make decisions for you, you give up control.
When you control the decisions, you control the actions.

Take charge of your life,
so there is no longer a need to ask permission of others.
When you ask permission,
you're giving someone "veto" power over your life.

Only you are responsible for your life.
Take control and start making those decisions.

Motivational Newsletter for Online Marketers

Max Steingart sends motivational messages every day. I even use them at MotivationalBlog.blogspot.com quite a bit. There's a bonus if you publish an ezine or newsletter or blog yourself.

If you sign up as one of Max's affiliates and someone subscribes through your affiliate link [which you can place in your publications], you'll receive commission if that subscriber makes a purchase over the next several months. You'll need to check with Max Steingart's site for the exact details.

You can also sign up other affiliates and receive a smaller commission when someone purchases through that [sub-affiliate] link. It's merely a two-tiered compensation structure, not multi-level marketing. For those that might be skeptical of the effectiveness of the delayed compensation, I can assure you that I have been paid by Max Steingart. Here's Max's newsletter signup page:
Max Steingart's Newsletter - http://www.successway.com/motiv.cfm?mem_ID=&afid=2025&stay=

Three things to keep in mind, especially for business owners:

1) YOU can sign up for these uplifting messages regardless of whether you're interested in generating subscribers for Max and receiving commissions when those subscribers purchase!

2) YOU can learn how to use similar methods of generating subscribers for YOUR publications and in so doing you can generate income through your ezine, newsletter or blog. I know another great businessman who will teach you for $10 a month how to generate bigger lists, more traffic and powerful techniques for generating income through YOUR AREAS of expertise. His name is Jimmy D. Brown and to my ear he sounds like a southern version of Bob Eubanks, who hosted the original Newlywed Game.
Click here to visit Jimmy D. Brown's site:

3) Max Steingart also teaches online marketing and he supports using instant messaging to create GENUINE conversation so you can attract people that are interested in whatever your project is. This method can be especially helpful for those in network marketing.

Well, I wasn't quite concise today. Maybe next time. :-)

Charlie Hicks-Moore's attitude about gratitude

OK!

Concise. Not precisely a newsletter or an ezine, but if you want to succeed in business or advance your career [or improve a relationship?] or even wonder why you're unsatisfied with some relationships where YOU are the client, read this about gratitude and how it can help your bottom line [not to mention enhance your life].

Gratitude and Selling The Experience

I do believe I'll add this link to the template of ValueFair.blogspot.com!

Charlie Hicks-Moore's newsletter and ezine favorites!

Welcome to ValueFair.blogspot.com!

When I was a kid in Encinitas [technically Leucadia] there was a store called Value Fair which I'm pretty sure was right next to a Vons in Cardiff-By-The-Sea, California. I still remember getting black spray paint for the sailboat I was making in woodshop at Oak Crest Junior High.

Value Fair was just across the railroad tracks and Highway 101 from the beckoning Pacific Ocean. Compared to that natural beauty I'm sure that many people wouldn't even have noticed it unless they really needed something there. As far as I know, people got truly fair value at Value Fair. I remember buying a 45 [record - not a gun!] for my older brother's birthday there. I'm pretty sure it was a "kid" record like The Theme From The Jungle Book [Bear Necessities?] and my teenage brother gave it right back to me after I presented it to him proudly. Like my lost innocence, Value Fair is no longer there. I don't think the company exists any more.

Lots of flashy and exotic and even trashy stuff gets a lot of attention these days. I think more and more people are noticing value on the internet. Not always at first glance, mind you, but sometimes after they have been burned by the flashy or the trashy or the exotic or the majestic.

My goal is to provide value to readers who want to learn more about an assortment of subjects including career enhancement, personal development, how to run a business effectively, creating income, website development or even hobbies. I'll recommend newsletters/ezines that I and others publish. I may even learn to be concise in how I say things. Don't necessarily count on that last part. ;-)
